Apple has officially announced the much-awaited budget MacBook, the MacBook Neo. The budget MacBook Neo starts at just $599. The MacBook Neo features a slightly different design compared to the current MacBook Air. One major change is the display, which has bezels on all four sides. The bezels are wide enough to house a centered camera at the top.

The base model of the MacBook Neo lacks Touch ID and a backlit keyboard. It comes with 8GB RAM and two storage options: 256GB and 512GB. Other specs include a 13-inch Liquid Retina Display, an A18 Pro chip (6-core CPU and 5-core GPU), up to 16 hours of battery life, Apple Intelligence support, speakers placed on each side, and more.
